   Dr. Anna Phillips

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Phillips was born and raised in Columbia, SC.  She attended Clemson University where she completed her BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and microbiology.  Following her undergratuate education, Dr. Phillips attended the Medical University of South Carolina and earned her DMD.  She then attended the Dental College of Georgia and completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry.

 

Dr. Phillips has always had a passion for working with kids and is excited to be able to do that each day as a Pediatric Dentist.  Her favorite part of the job is seeing dentistry through the eyes of her patients and putting them at ease and showing kids that oral care can be fun.  She is so incredibly excited and honored to be practicing in the state of South Carolina, where she grew up. 

 

When she is not working on tiny teeth, she is walking or playing with her dog Zuri, traveling, at the beach or spending time with her family and friends. 

 

Dr. Denise Swasty

Orthodontist

DR. DENISE SWASTY'S journey has taken her from New England to the West Coast and ultimately led her to South Carolina where she and her husband found a great location to settle down and raise a family.  With the team at Swasty Orthodontics and the family-based community here, she found the perfect place to call home.

 

After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Swasty then headed out west to earn her Master of Science in Orthodontics degree from the University of California at San Francisco. Upon graduating from residency, she spent two years in Matthews, North Carolina practicing orthodontics until she started Swasty Orthodontics in 2008.

 

Dr. Swasty is trained in the latest techniques, including temporary implant placement, 3D facial imaging,  laser technology and she is one of the top Invisalign providers in Charleston.

 

Denise, her husband Matt along with their son Tristen enjoy outdoor activities including kayaking, canoeing, biking, and camping.

Dr. Melanie Brown

Dentist

DR. Brown was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, AL and attended the University of Alabama for undergrad. She finished dental school in Birmingham and found her calling in children's dentistry.  She loves working with kids and making her patients laugh.  In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, boating, trying new restaurants and hanging out with friends and family.

Dr. Thomas Morse

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Morse is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and has been in practice for over 30 years.  He truly loves working with children and is gifted at making them feel comfortable.   In his free time, he enjoys travel and diving on ship wrecks.  

Dr. Patrick McKnight

Dentist

Dr. Patrick Mcknight was born in Texas and raised in New Mexica. He completed his Bachelors of Science with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry from Eastern New Mexico University. Dr. Mckight then moved to South Carolina where he attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and recieved his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Upon completing a residency in General Practice from Plametto Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC he then settled in Beaufort. 

 

Dr. Mcknight owned a family dentistry practice in Port Royal for 15 years before transitioning to where his passion alwasy was, working with children. Dr. Mcknight has worked 1-2 days weekly for a non profit SMiles For A Liftetime for the past 20 years providing childrens dental services to the underserved communities in Allendale and Hampton counties. 

 

Dr. Mcknight spends his free time with his partner Hannah as well as with his daughters Madeline, who is a dancer in NYC, and Ameliea who is an undergrad student in Jacksonville, FL.
